You may have multiple Facebook pages that you wish to merge into one. Facebook makes this possible, but a few things you'll want to keep in mind before getting started...
- Check that the Facebook username is available if you are thinking of changing the page name once merged into one.
- Bear in mind that It could take a few days before your Facebook merge request is completed. (could be up to 7 days)
- Only 2 pages will be merged at a time. So if you are merging more than this, you will have to do multiple merge requests.
- Your pages need to have ‘similar’ page names and are relevant to each other.
- Content from the ‘merged’ page including posts and photos will be deleted. However, content on the remaining page will be kept.
- You will need admin access to all pages you will want to merge.
Step 1: Log in to your Facebook account and go to the following link: https://www.facebook.com/pages/merge/.
Step 2: In here you can then choose the first two pages that you would like to merge. When requesting this, remember that the “page you’ll keep” will stay the same, however, the “duplicate page you’ll merge” will have all content removed.
Step 3: So now you have requested the merge of 2 pages. You can see the status of this request by going to ‘settings’ from the right drop-down menu and then ‘support inbox’.
