Getting your social media accounts set up with Catholic Social Media is easy!
If this is your first time with Catholic Social Media, you'll be visited with a splash screen and invited to connect your social account. Just click this button to get started:
Otherwise, click your profile in the upper righthand corner, click “Social Media Accounts”, then “Add Social Media” or "Edit Social Media." You can connect up to five Facebook pages, five Instagram pages, and five Twitter (X) pages. This will help you manage a primary parish plus additional campuses, a parish school, or other related organizations such as youth group social media accounts.
I can’t seem to get my additional Facebook pages connected. What’s the problem?
This is usually an issue with your Instagram Business connection. Click on “Social Media accounts” in the righthand dropdown menu. Then click on your first Instagram connection and click “Edit Settings.” This will show you the complete list of Facebook pages connected to your Business account. Make sure you have all relevant pages marked and accept all permissions before proceeding.
This will ensure that all permissions are properly given and received for all your Facebook pages. When you click on your second and third “Add Social Media” connections, your connection should be properly established.
