There are three types of diocesan users in Catholic Social Media, each with different permissions within the diocesan subscription. Below is a full list of each type of user and the permissions that user has.
- Diocesan Owner(s)
- Full rights to create and distribute content to all parishes associated with the diocesan account
- Full rights to create and distribute resources to all parishes associated with the diocesan account
- Full rights to create content tags associated with posts
- Full rights to create content tags associated with resources
- Full rights to create distribution groups
- Full rights to create, edit, delete accounts and users at the diocesan level
- Full rights to create, edit, delete accounts and users at the parish level
- Full rights to diocesan analytics pages
- Full rights to shadow parish accounts
- Diocesan Admin(s)
- Full rights to create and distribute content to all parishes associated with the diocesan account
- Full rights to create and distribute resources to all parishes associated with the diocesan account
- Full rights to create content tags associated with posts
- Full rights to create content tags associated with resources
- Full rights to create distribution groups
- Partial rights to create, edit, delete accounts and users at the diocesan level: may only do so for diocesan standard users
- Full rights to create, edit, delete accounts and users at the parish level
- Full rights to diocesan analytics pages
- Full rights to shadow parish accounts

- Full rights to create and distribute content to all parishes associated with the diocesan account
